Whilst creating another chemistry-related piece last year, it struck me that the molecular structure of caffeine might be a good design to go on a coffee mug. Thanks to the wonders of the internet, it is now possible to upload a design and order a sample copy of such things to find out. I think it looks pretty good, at least on this second attempt when the design was applied the correct way up.

If it proves popular, I may go into production.

P.S. For those of you wanting the structure of ethanol etched onto shot glasses, I’m afraid it has a very uninteresting molecule. Aesthetically, at least.
