If you saw notices like these on Saturday night, chances are you were at the same party as I was. Or driving past, seething with jealousy that you hadn’t been invited. My sister asked me if I could make some signs for her party and this is what I came up with. Can’t go wrong with a bit of Cooper Black. Unless you make the colour of the balloons, on the one sign that is to go outside, so similar to that of the text that it just looks like an amorphous blob from any distance. Especially in the dark. And the snow.

Still, every day’s a school day and I don’t think anybody cancelled because they couldn’t read the sign…
