Hoole is ace. Christmas lights are ace. Put the two together and you have sheer magic: Hoole Christmas Lights. When I was speaking to one of the committee for said lights several months ago, I offered my artistic services should they ever wish to use them. Therefore, I was more than happy to help when I was called upon last week, producing this poster for a fundraising event at one of the local hostelries. It was very satisfying to see it displayed in the window of many of the local small businesses the day after I delivered the final artwork. There is still such a thing as community round our way.

I hope the event is a huge success, that I can help again in the future and that the weather actually feels more like Easter than the current Christmas climate by the time it takes place.
